Press Operator Job Overview:

The Flexographic Press Operator performs manual and machine operator tasks related to the set-up, maintenance, and operation of the narrow web press.

This position is 3rd shift, 12-hour shifts.


Press Operator Pay :
$26-30/hour + $5,000 sign-on bonusPress Operator 12-hour Shift: 2nd shift (2pm-10pm), 3rd Shift (6pm-10am) and rotating 12-hour shift (6pm -6am)

Monday- Wednesday for 13 weeksThursday-Sunday for 13 weeksplus 8-hour shift every other weekPress Operator Key Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Consistent work history1 year minimum experience as a Flexographic Press Operator (narrow web preferred) in a high-quality, commercial printing companyProficient at Production Setups, Blueprint Reading, Quality inspectionLeadership in taking initiative to pitch in where help is needed, work on improvementsPress Operator

Press Operator Key Responsibilities:

Operate Label (flexographic) pressroom equipment, sheeters, stackers, fan folding equipment, infrared heating equipment, turret, IMASS peel grain testers, digital scope, densitometer, gloss meter, UV equipmentExecutes scheduled job according to specifications in order to set-up and run the required equipmentCompletes the make-ready and installs all required auxiliary equipment in order to meet or perform the necessary job specificationsSelects the inks and mixes inks as specified; Monitors use of inks and varnishes on the pressJoin Us.
