McKinley Architecture and Engineering is growing and in need of a full-time Electrical Engineer, PE to join our team. McKinley Architecture and Engineering is seeking qualified individuals that will be able to acclimate quickly and "hit the ground running". McKinley Architecture and Engineering has 4 offices, Wheeling, WV - Wexford, PA, Charleston, WV and our most recent office opened in 2023 Martinsburg, WV. We utilize a business model structured for efficiency, offering comprehensive professional services across a wide landscape of client categories. Our architects, engineers, and technicians are all in-house, creating optimum communication and collaboration, which results in outstanding service to our clients. We also have LEED Accredited Professionals, a Historic Preservationist, a Qualified Commissioning Process Provider, an Accredited Learning Environment Planner, and a Recognized Educational Facilities Planner.
Our P.E. staff is responsible for developing and leading the process to manage the expression of engineering, design, and project management. They act as a manager to ensure that MKA projects follow the appropriate design vision, participate as a team member on major global projects, and document the objectives, requirements, and recommendations in the MKA standards.
While this is NOT a remote job, a certain amount of remote work is possible based on employer needs and employee experience level.
Job Description Summary: The Electrical Engineer will coordinate with the engineering and architectural staff, work directly with clients, as well as develop and design projects in conformance with engineering professional ethics and standards.
