    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    This is a hybrid role. While our center is based in a specific location, you will be engaging with candidates in the surrounding areas.

    Responsible for overseeing the recruitment and onboarding of Job Corps students. Establishes and nurtures partnerships that enhance student success. Evaluates student qualifications, eligibility, and readiness for enrollment. Maintains strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information and ensures the integrity of student records.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conducts thorough screening processes to assess applicants' eligibility for the Job Corps Program.
    • Reviews and analyzes applicants' behavioral, medical, and educational documentation.
    • Informs applicants of enrollment decisions and directs them to alternative educational resources when necessary.
    • Facilitates comprehensive assessment and career guidance throughout the admissions process.
    • Acts as a liaison with center staff to ensure a smooth enrollment experience and promote early student retention.
    • Collaborates with community organizations, employment services, and educational institutions to raise awareness about the Job Corps program.
    • Builds and maintains referral networks within the community.
    • Conducts tours of the center, pre-enrollment visits, and parent information sessions.
    • Mentors and models the Career Success Standards as required.
    • Provides effective supervision and management of the student population.
    • Takes prompt and appropriate action to positively influence student behavior.
    • Seeks opportunities for program and service enhancement.



    Qualifications

    Associate's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications, or a related field, along with two years of relevant experience is required.

    -OR-

    Bachelor's degree in a similar field is preferred.

    • Experience may include successful enrollment in Job Corps or other youth development initiatives.
    • A valid in-State Driver's License is required, along with meeting company insurability standards.
