    Job Summary

    Responsibilities:

    • Performs and documents test results, quality control, maintenance procedures and associated corrective actions according to policy/procedure.
    • Manages/performs other aspects of daily lab operations including collections, sample processing, results reporting/distribution, personnel direction (as appropriate), and clerical duties as required to maintain efficient work flow at a competent level.
    • Interacts with hospital personnel,volunteers physicians patients regarding specimens/orders coming into the Laboratory/results going out according to policies/procdures of Laboratory Services/sensitivity customer needs.
    • Maintains compliance with policies ,procedures/initiatives laboratory services,hospital/system understands communicates complies standards/conditions governmental accrediting agencies i.e.TJC,FDA,CAP,AABB,CMS,HCFACLA ensure patient care/service satisfaction while promoting safety,cost efficiency commitment PI process.
