Description
Overall Expectation:
Own and execute Ventura Manufacturing's core HR compliance, benefits administration, and people operations with precision and reliability. This role requires a highly detail-oriented HR professional who ensures regulatory compliance, accurate benefits administration, and strong HR systems execution while also identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Highlighted Expectations:
- Own HR compliance execution across ADA, FMLA, EEOC, OSHA, workers compensation, and unemployment processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely responses.
- Administer benefits and total rewards programs (401(k), ESOP, payroll coordination, and benefits enrollment) with a strong focus on accuracy and team member experience.
- Maintain HR systems and data integrity, including HRIS (Paylocity), time & attendance, recruiting systems, and required compliance records.
- Serve as the operational backbone of the People Team by tracking documentation, deadlines, action items, and required records to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Coordinate safety and health-related administrative requirements, including training documentation, compliance tracking, and occupational health partnerships.
- Support performance and employee relations processes through accurate documentation, tracking, and system discipline.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities within HR processes, systems, and administrative workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of HR experience with demonstrated depth in compliance, benefits administration, or HR operations
- Direct experience administering FMLA, ADA, OSHA, and workers compensation
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms; Paylocity experience strongly preferred
- Track record of managing multiple compliance deadlines without errors
- Ability to work onsite daily in Zeeland, MI
Preferred / Nice to Have:
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Experience with ESOP or 401K plan administration
