    Job Title: Assistant Chemist/Microbiologist

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Chemist/Microbiologist to join our team at SORA Laboratories. As an Assistant Chemist/Microbiologist, you will be responsible for performing chemical, microbiological, and physical testing of samples submitted to our laboratory.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform receipt, compositing, and organization of samples submitted to SORA Labs.
    • Conduct sampling in a GMP environment.
    • Perform and report assigned testing of samples submitted to the laboratory.
    • Maintain the chemistry, microbiology, and physical testing facilities and supplies in good working order.
    • Record and peer-review analytical and calibration work performed as required for GMP and laboratory accountability.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
    • 0-3 years of experience in an analytical laboratory setting.
    • Proficiency with analytical laboratory glassware, equipment, and instrumentation.
    • Able to read, analyze, and interpret methods and standard operating procedures.

    Working Environment:

    The position requires extensive standing and regular use of personal protective equipment such as lab coats, gloves, safety glasses, and respirators.

    Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

    Location: Forsyth, MO.
