Santa Margherita USA is seeking a Wine Educator.

The position reports to the Senior Manager of Ca' del Bosco and Portfolio Fine Wine Specialist and is located in Miami Beach, Florida.

Position Objectives:

To support the education of wholesale & company sales forces by providing high quality and consistent wine education programs and sales skills training to distributor and importer sales forces across the United States.

Job Responsibilities:
o\tDevelop education programs at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
o\tSynthesize information and communicate it effectively to both a sales audience and a consumer audience.
o\tOrganize course materials, research and develop content with proficiency.
o\tCreate and update courses and programs.

o\tPrepare course materials and present packages across a variety of computer platforms and different mediums (Power Point, traditional print, and e-learning delivery mediums).

\tDeliver seminars/webinars to provide general wine knowledge, emphasize portfolio knowledge, incorporate sales skills selling tools to enable synthesis between wine knowledge and selling abilities.
o\tAnalyze results of the training programs and products.
o\tWork with sales and marketing managers and understand brand and sales strategies to best support their efforts through training.
o\tOrganize and perform market visits to support sales and marketing efforts.

Additional Skills and/or Educational Background:
ALL\tBachelor's degree and/or relevant training certification.

\t2 to 3 years experience in the design and development of education program preferable in the wine or spirits industry.
\tPrior wine sales selling, marketing experience or sales training experience.
\tExperience in applying education and training curriculum to field sales very useful.
\tExcellent organizational skills along with demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
\tSharp editing skills and good grammar and punctuation is required.

\tIndustry Credentials are necessary:
CWE, Court of Master Sommelier, WSET, etc.

\tAbility to travel upon demand (30%)
\tParticipates in training programs, educational opportunities, reads professional publications.
\tDetail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
\tWillingness to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion.
\tProven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
