JASA PACKAGING SOLUTIONS INC., a leading provider of innovative industrial solutions, is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team based out of Richmond, VA.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our valued customers.

If you have experience working on packaging equipment that would be a big plus.

Travel will be involved in this position hence you must be a road warrior and a self-starter who is used to work independently as well as in teams.

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Field Service Engineer at JASA, based out of Richmond, VA, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our industrial equipment and systems.

You will be responsible for delivering exceptional on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services to our valued customers.

By installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting a wide range of machinery, you will contribute to maximizing equipment performance and minimizing downtime.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance, collaborating with customers to understand their needs, and providing effective solutions to address any concerns.

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in training customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices, empowering them to optimize their productivity and efficiency.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services for JASA's packaging solutions.
Install, commission, and troubleshoot a wide range of machinery, including packaging equipment, conveyor systems, and automated solutions.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements, address concerns, and provide effective solutions to meet their needs.
Train customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices to enhance their productivity and efficiency.
Document service activities, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts replacement, and maintain accurate service reports and records.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and product knowledge to provide expert guidance and support to customers.
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in field service engineering, preferably in the packaging equipment or machinery industry.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.
Proficient in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Flexibility to travel extensively to customer sites within the assigned region.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
