    Description

    Execution of machine moves, game conversions, installations, maintenance, floor upgrades and repairs of E-Games machines.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Includes the following:

  • Demonstrates computer literacy.
  • Must have in depth knowledge of machine troubleshooting and repair on a variety of manufacturers EGMs.
  • Works closely with vendors and assist them in machine repairs.
  • Performs extensive machine repairs without the supervision of a higher-level technician and ensures work is performed in a safe manner.
  • Performs minor repairs to ticket redemption kiosks and ATMs with the supervision of a higher-level technician.
  • Knowledge of and ability to patch in games.
  • Demonstrates troubleshooting techniques and escalate problem if needed.
  • Expected to execute machine moves, game conversions, installations and floor upgrades.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on owned machines.
  • Maintains accurate parts inventory.
  • Responds in a timely fashion to technician calls on casino floor.
  • Takes initiative to ask for and offer help to guests and co-workers.
  • Adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies.
  • Works varied shift and overtime when needed.
  • Focus on guest service.
  • Maintain positive interdepartmental communications.
  • Preform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

    Lead and/or guide the work of other employees.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and years of slot technician experience or electronics equivalent. Completion of IGT Courses: MT, MT, MT, MT, MT, NG, MT, AG, and redemption kiosk service training completion or the ability to obtain such training. ATM service training or ability to obtain such training. Prior E-Games experience a plus

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Have and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass background check, pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures as well as safety guidelines
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of lbs.
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT

    Work may be performed in a variety of settings, including climate-controlled office settings and casino floors which includes exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise.
