ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Chrysalis is looking for a Caregiver in the Utah County region. This role involves assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enhance their independence, have enjoyable experiences, and establish connections. You will provide care to them in their homes, as well as engage in enjoyable activities within the community. Our caregivers acquire valuable expertise in the human services sector and have numerous opportunities for career growth within the organization.

What is the experience like as a caregiver for Chrysalis? Here is a glimpse of what a typical day might entail:

Teach an individual how to prepare a meal
Assist with budgeting and planning
Demonstrate appropriate behaviors
Participate in engaging activities like watching movies, bowling, going on car rides, visiting the zoo, attending sporting events, playing video games, and more
Support individuals in staying physically active and engaging in exercise

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum age requirement of 18 years
Successful completion of a drug test and background check
No previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is needed to apply. We provide comprehensive training to all caregivers to offer meaningful assistance to those we serve.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

We have both full-time and part-time positions available. Shift options include overnight shifts (approximately 12am – 9am), evening shifts (around 3pm – 12am), and weekend shifts. We are open to discussing shift flexibility during the interview process.

The hourly wage ranges from $15 to $17.75, based on experience. Chrysalis also provides competitive benefits for full-time employees, including:
