Job Summary
Custodian at Smithsburg High School on the 4th grade of the ESP Salary Scale ($31.07). Performs cleaning and maintenance tasks, provides a presence to protect school against fire, theft and/or damage, cares for heating/air conditioning system and assists with minor emergency repairs.
+Responsibilities
- Perform operations as scrubbing, mopping, sweeping, waxing etc., involved in cleaning school buildings by using hand or mechanical cleaning tools.
- Provide a presence to protect school against fire,discourage theft,and/or damage by trespassers.
- Care forand/or checks (as required in the site schedule) the heating/air conditioning system whether it is low pressure steam hot air electric or oil fired system.
