    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • A Plant-General Manager oversees a company's processes to ensure they stay within the budget and enhance efficiency.
    • Responsible for consistently finding ways to improve an organization's production processes and structures.
    • The Plant-General Manager will consistently review employees and their equipment items to determine where to make enhancements.
    • Work closely with team members to build strategies to maximize their performance.
    • Collaborate with other departments and team members to set goals for the production team.
    • In charge of scheduling routine maintenance to keep the equipment running effectively and maintaining quality standards.
    • Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff
    • Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, proven track record for excellent project management
    • Technical Capacity and the ability to provide technical guidance.
    • Business Acumen.
    • Conducts regular communication meetings to review performance, production, project status and initiatives.
    • Provides a safe and clean working environment and health and safety requirements.
    • Oversee the preventative maintenance in Production and Tooling.
    • Ensure continuation of quality accreditations to support the Aerospace business.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Manage and develop existing relations directly with our OEM licensors, for instance GE, Pratt & Whitney, Boeing, etc.
    • Oversee daily plant operations and personnel activity
    • Account management - customer visits, relationship building
    • Trained to have a technical understanding of a program, its customers' work scopes and what is needed to provide solutions.
    • Expertise on Tooling Design and the function of the product.
    • Provide strong practices to help continuous growth and improvement at an OEM level.
    • Technical support to Production – help in industrialization of a certain program with experience and knowledge gain through OEM training and exposure.
    • Technical support to Quality for OEM specialized tooling and procedures.
    • Technical support to Sales – such as training support for WW teams.
    • Design/Engineering: review engineering blueprints for new projects, recommend and implement design changes and manufacturing improvements.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERINCE

    • Bachelor of Engineering: Mechanical preferred, Industrial, Materials or related field.
    • Mechanical Engineer / Aerospace specialty / Sales and Marketing experience
    • 3+ years project engineering management experience within an industrial environment.
    • Ability to communicate clearly internally and externally
    • Experience executing cost control Projects in a multi-disciplinary environment.
    • Strong engineering skills.
    • Demonstrable teamwork and maturity with a strong work ethic.
    • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Sage
