- Senecas Underwriting Training program is fast paced learning opportunity that will provide a valuable foundation for a career in Commercial Lines insurance.
- Our in-house training consists of 6-9 months of courses, self-study and on-the-job training in a variety of Commercial Lines coverage's to develop underwriting knowledge.
- You will learn technical underwriting skills, build core competencies, and gain broad exposure to Senecas operations.
- Upon successful completion of the training program, you will be assigned an underwriting territory and position, and you will have continued learning and career progression opportunities.
- Promotions and salary increases are based on technical development, continued education and underwriting aptitude. The complexity of the job demands several years of experience to achieve proficiency.
- College graduate with a 3.0 GPA minimum.
- College degree in many majors will be considered.
- Risk Management major a plus but not required.
- Recent college graduates who have 6 months to 1 year of related experience
- Ability to learn through self-study.
- Strong work ethic, verbal & written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office.
