    The Deputy Chief Financial Officer is a key leadership role within the organization responsible for assisting the CFO in managing the financial actions of the Bank.

    The Deputy CFO (DCFO) will work closely with the CFO and plays a critical role in developing and implementing financial strategies, policies and practices that support the organization's growth and financial health in both BaaS and Community Banking Divisions.

    This role requires a deep understanding of banking, finance, accounting, public company reporting and financial strategy.
    Assist in Strategic Planning – support the CFO in strategic planning and execution of financial initiatives.

    Financial Oversight – oversee the preparation of financial reports (non-SEC reports), direct investment activities, and implement cash/liquidity management strategies.

    Budget Management – collaborate with other leaders and department heads to formulate budgets and monitor financial performance against forecasts.

    Risk Management – identify and manage financial risks, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

    Leadership – provide leadership and direction to the finance team fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

    Stakeholder Relations – Maintain relationships with partners, investors, and financial institutions.
    Operations Efficiency – drive efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations, including accounting, tax, treasury, and compensation.
    Financial Analysis – Conduct in-depth financial analysis to information decision-making and report on financial status to senior management.
    Process Improvement – continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and systems to increase accuracy and efficiency.
    Compliance – ensure that all financial transactions and policies comply with statutory law and financial regulations.
    Strong finance-based analytical skills.

    Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely filing and effective reporting process communication to others, including staff, regulators, and auditors.

    Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; 10+ years of senior-level bank experience supervising in accounting, preferably in a public company (SEC reporting experience).

    ~10+years of senior-level bank experience in finance supervising finance, preferably in a bank with Banking as a Service (BaaS) including financial planning and analysis (FPA)
    ~5+ years' experience as a Deputy CFO or similar role in a banking industry.
    ~ Extensive knowledge of accounting standards, laws and regulations related to banking and BaaS.
    ~ Technical and comprehensive knowledge of all accounting/finance areas of a Bank including an excellent understanding accounting and finance.
    ~ Expert level use of FPA, management reporting systems and report writing capabilities are required.
    ~ Expert level use of Microsoft office products including Teams.
