    MORTGAGE LENDING SPECIALIST

    JOB SUMMARY:

    • As a Mortgage Lending Specialist, you will be essential in driving the success of Supreme Lending by connecting with realtors, builders, and potential clients to promote our innovative financial products and exceptional services.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

    • Proactively market and promote Supreme Lending's extensive range of financial products.
    • Consistently originate a minimum of two transactions per month by meticulously processing complete and accurate loan applications.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with realtors, builders, and new home sales representatives to stimulate business growth.
    • Deliver outstanding customer service by overseeing client interactions from the loan application stage to closing, including counseling and pre-qualifying home buyers.
    • Gather and analyze customer data related to income, assets, investments, and debts to deliver tailored solutions.
    • Evaluate loan products and determine the best fit for customers' unique financial situations.
    • Educate customers on the advantages and disadvantages of various loan options.
    • Assist existing customers by collecting necessary documents and managing fees and lock-in information.
    • Monitor loan status to ensure alignment with agreed terms and conditions.
    • Communicate loan progress effectively to all stakeholders and handle documentation post-closing.
    • Negotiate competitive terms and conditions with customers for their loans.
    • Stay updated on market trends, real estate developments, and regulatory changes related to mortgages.
    • Maintain a professional demeanor consistent with company policies and values.
    • May supervise junior loan officers and support staff as necessary.
    • Perform additional tasks as assigned to contribute to the team's success.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Must possess appropriate licenses as mandated by state regulations.
    • A minimum of 12 months experience as a loan originator is required; a minimum of 5 years for those in senior roles.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments, realtors, sales agents, builders, appraisers, and more.
    • Demonstrated judgment and decision-making abilities along with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to analyze and process substantial data promptly, utilizing relevant software technology.
    • Active community involvement and participation in relevant organizations are essential for networking opportunities.
    • Commitment to ongoing professional development in the industry and organization is crucial.
    • A valid driver's license and current automobile liability insurance are necessary.
