    Meaningful Work From Day One:
    This position will be performing accounting functions for both the broader Corporate Accounting and IT teams. As
    the individual in that role becomes more comfortable with the B-F hierarchy and expense management practices,
    they will likely become responsible for several other functional areas' accounting and budgeting needs. The analyst
    will ensure the accuracy of Brown-Forman's financial records and compliance with controls. This position will be vital
    in tracking budgetary variances, compiling departmental results for project teams' use, and ensuring expenses are
    accrued in accordance with GAAP.


    What You Can Expect:
    Finance/Accounting.

    • This position will serve as a business partner to provide corporate accounting support to IT and other back
    office departments as needed. Primary duties will include reporting, decision support, analysis, and business
    forecasting for the IT group.

    • They will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all financial records, including financial statements and
    general ledger data.

    • Provide guidance on corporate accounting policies and procedures to operations and other supporting
    teams.

    • Identify and implement measures to improve efficiency in current and future processes.
    • Observe, apply and ensure US GAAP and appropriate internal controls are followed for the business.
    • Ensure complete processes/system documentation, and develop materials for the training of finance/IT
    professionals on applicable concepts and/or applications; lead or participate in actual training sessions as a
    subject matter expert.

    • Special projects may include involvement with:
    ○ Miscellaneous Corporate Accounting back office functions as the need arises
    ○ External reporting and audit requests
    ○ Digital Transformation initiatives (creating efficiencies through workstream reconfiguration,
    automation tools, and taking advantage of system functionalities).
    ○ Account reconciliation process improvements and gaining responsibility as primary individual
    responsible for particular accounts
    ○ Ad-hoc project work and requests from Management

    What You Bring to the Table:

    • Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field plus a minimum of 4 years experience in finance /
    accounting -or- BS or BA in Accounting or Finance plus a minimum of two years experience in finance /
    accounting field. Demonstrates working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and
    financial reporting / analysis.

    • Proficiency using the Google (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Suites,
    including advanced spreadsheet tools.

    • Working knowledge of SAP is preferred, but not required.
    • Ability to work with minimum supervision and with heavy workloads. Proven ability to complete high quality
    work product within established time frames. Work with ambiguous situations with little supervision.

    • Strong analytical skills with ability to validate, analyze, and sort through large amounts of data and transform
    complex data into succinct, clear communications.

    • Possess the ability, desire and skills necessary to interact with upper management and to advance within
    the organization.

    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
