    Generative AI Engineer, Senior

    As an experienced engineer or scientist, you know that artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and natural language processing (NLP), including large language models (LLMs), are critical to understanding and processing massive datasets and informing humans on decision options at machine speed.

    We need your technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities to identify and develop opportunities for the use of AI, ML, and LLMs to solve real-world business and operational problems that will help our clients develop solutions that meet the needs of 21st-century, high-intensity warfare against advanced adversaries and provide our forces with decision advantage.

    You'll share your knowledge with a large community of machine learning engineers across the firm and collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, systems engineers, and product owners to deliver world-class solutions to deliver mentorship, training, and solutions to real-world problems.

    5+ years of experience with supporting machine learning projects
    2+ years of experience with applying large language and generative AI models, including transformers and GPT models
    2+ years of experience with researching modern AI capabilities in machine learning, including deep learning and natural language processing, and LLM frameworks
    Ability to become competent in branches of machine learning
    Top Secret clearance
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
    Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of start date
    Experience with generative adversarial networks
    Experience with methods for testing, evaluating, and generating trust in non-deterministic systems
    Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering
    Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
    Top Secret clearance is required.

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

    The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.Our people-first culture prioritizes the benefits of flexibility and collaboration, whether that happens in person or remotely.
