    As a Production Specialist Sr Staff (Level 5) you will support production operations for all programs (F-16, C-130, and F-35).

    A Production Specialist Sr Staff (Level 5) considered to be a subject matter expert and must be able to lead projects to closure.

    What You Will Be DoingAs a Production Specialist Sr Staff (Level 5) you will be responsible for:


    • Perform projects in multiple functional areas ranging from operations, constraint management, technical troubleshooting, supply chain, etc.
    • Lead projects across disciplines in order to execute strategic initiatives for the site. Incumbents generally have experience in multiple disciplines across manufacturing operations.
    • Coordinate activities ranging from capital expenditures, shop floor troubleshooting, continuous improvement and engagement to ensure the success of all operational aspects for the site.
    • Assist the production managers, engineering manager, and quality manager for various tasks on the floor.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Experience with reading and interpreting detail, blueprints, lay-out sketches, &/or process standards and specifications
    • Experience with understanding business metrics and deriving decisions for solving problems
    • Experience with understanding fabrication &/or assembly tooling processes
    Experience with SAP interface in a production environmentDesired Skills:

    • Bachelors degree with 10 years of experience relative to manufacturing, assembly, and fabrication teams
    • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office applications
    • Strong financial acumen required
    • Previous experience of continuous improvement methodologies to deliver results
    • Proven results related to project management development and execution
    • Previous experience in C-130, F-16, and F-35 technical requirements
    • Able to construct details and present to senior leadership
    • Masters degree in business or engineering related fields is preferred

    Ability to Work Remotely:
    Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility

    Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


    Schedule for this Position:
