Spindle is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team of passionate educators As a Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
Job Details:
Contract runs through the 23/24 school year
Full time hours, about 37.5 per week
Multiple positions available
Elementary or High School caseloads
Life Skills or Autism support classrooms
Pay rate is $36 per hour
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IEP's for students with special needs, focusing on academic, behavioral and social-emotional goals
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities within the classroom
Monitor and assess students' progress regularly, making data-driven decisions to adjust instructional strategies as needed
Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning, creativity and social interaction
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
Pennsylvania certification in Special Education
Prior experience working with students with special needs is preferred
