Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse Circulator

At our healthcare facility, we are looking for a passionate Registered Nurse Circulator to join our team. As an RN Circulator, you will be responsible for providing care to patients of all ages undergoing surgical procedures. Your role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver high-quality and cost-effective care while adhering to professional standards and best practices.

In this position, you will be expected to demonstrate key behaviors such as assessment, planning, implementation of perioperative nursing interventions, and continuous evaluation. Additionally, you will actively contribute to departmental quality assurance initiatives and play a vital role in training new staff members.

Requirements for the Ideal Candidate:
A. Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing
Completion of a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education annually, with at least 50 percent dedicated to unit-specific training and a minimum of one hour per age group

B. Experience

One year of relevant experience is preferred
Proficiency in basic computer skills

C. Licensure/Certification

Active registration as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Healthcare Provider
ACLS certification is a plus
Encouraged to be a member of AORN (Association of periOperative Registered Nurses)
Certification in Operating Room nursing (CNOR) is encouraged
