    Description

    Job Title: Epidemiologist

    Location: Nashville, TN Hybrid)

    Duration: 4 Months Contract (with a possible extension)

    Job Description:

    Serve as lead and coordinator for project to share HIV viral load data with another state agency.

    Includes document development, assembling information for and submitting reports and invoices to funding agency, and providing analytic and programming (SAS) support.

    Run code to improve data quality and integration, including making corrections in data systems for HIV surveillance, care and eligibility and to support perinatal HIV surveillance program.

    Provide analytic support for internal and external data requests and support to other special projects, as needed.

    Adhere to data security and confidentiality standards, including data suppression guidelines.

    Required education and experience:

    Candidates should hold a master's degree in epidemiology, public health, biostatistics, or health

    informatics from an accredited college or university.

    Candidates with work experience in applied epidemiology and/or public health surveillance are preferred.
