- Food Handler certifications or equivalent.

- Keep immediate supervisor fully informed of all problems or matters requiring their attention.
- Perform preparatory tasks, opening/closing and side work duties to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently.
- Serve guests according to Q Center's standards in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
- Respond to guest problems, complaints and accidents; communicate to management, if necessary.
- Maintain all service area storerooms in a neat and orderly manner, stock with any and all appropriate supplies necessary for food service functions.
- Follow all money handling procedures when serving the guest; taking credit and debit payments.
- Prepare and serve beverages such as coffee, espresso-based drinks, tea and other specialty drinks, paying attention to allergies or preferences.
- Prepare and serve food items.
- Promte and recommend menu options.
- Know the menu items and give accurate descriptions.
- Maintain coffee machines, grinders and other equipment.
- Keep the work environment and seating area clean, sanitary and organized.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction and safety is achieved.

The schedule for this position is 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday.
Starting rate for this position is $16/hour.
