    Description

    We are looking for a Project Manager to join our growing and collaborative team, who will help provide outstanding client service through creativity and technical expertise, while being responsible for performing construction risk management services.     Responsibilities:
    • Technical report writing; clear, concise condition and status reports
    • Help prepare funding recommendations for the Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC)
    • Handicap compliance monitoring and/or asset management coordination and maintaining/updating program policies and procedures
    • Assist in the training of new junior program staff or new staff
    • Construction risk management services including:
      • Document and Cost Review
      • Construction Project Progress and Completion Percentage
      • Project Evaluation
      • Pay Application Review
      • Cost to Complete
      • Budget Reviews
    • Property condition assessments including:
      • Evaluating the condition of building components/systems
      • Making recommendations for maintenance and remaining useful life for building systems
      • Cost estimation associated with the replacement of building components/systems
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in architecture, construction management and/or engineering discipline.
    • 2-5 years of relevant experience in construction or construction-related field such as architecture, construction management and/or engineering.
    • Ability to read and understand construction documents
    • Knowledge and experience in assessing various property types, general building codes, permitting, and industry standards
    • Multi-family construction experience preferred
    • Handicap compliance experience preferred
    • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) are required along with advanced technical writing skills, proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook, strong work ethic, reliability and the ability to provide outstanding client service and satisfaction
    • Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
    • Manage multiple projects concurrently
    • Ability to climb ladders, roofs, work outside, navigate stairs, sites and building interiors
    • Travel required
    • Valid driver's license as field work and site travel is involved; candidate will be responsible for transportation
