The Law Office of John Redmann is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our growing office. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of legal matters for a well-respected law firm.

As a litigation paralegal, you will be responsible for managing case files once they enter our Litigation Department, communicating with clients and attorneys, conducting research, and drafting legal documents and correspondence.

A successful Litigation Paralegal Candidate will possess superior organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude and professional work environment.

Medical
~ Dental
~ Perform legal and factual research
Identify relevant judicial decisions, legal articles, codes, and other pertinent material
Summarize documents and proceedings including depositions, medical records, trial and hearing transcripts, interrogatories, and testimony
Draft legal documents including briefs, pleadings, appeals, agreements, contacts, and legal memoranda
Draft and sign legal correspondence that is informative in nature, but does not include legal opinion or advice
Check and edit legal forms and documents for accuracy
Build and maintain databases and files
Review and monitor new and updated laws and regulations
Assist in case planning, development, and management
Attend to office matters

Calendar deadlines:
calculate legal deadlines and file documents as required
Draft pleadings, document responses, and discovery

Proven experience in handling litigation processes and preparing for trials
Ability to effectively multitask, manage time efficiently, and prioritize projects is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must
Experiences in Personal Injury law
Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
