    Description


    Spherion Staffing currently is looking to fill a Quality Technician within a plastics manufacturing and packaging company in the Spokane Valley.

    This position is temp to hire within a company that cross trains and promotes from within.

    Mon-Fri 3pm - 11:30pm


    Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

    In addition, Spherion offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, Washington paid sick leave, an incentive and recognition program (all benefits are based on eligibility).


    Responsibilities:
    You will be performing duties to ensure compliance with cooperate and plant safety within a plastic bottling company. This will include working with your statistical tools and techniques to monitor plant performance and finished goods. Complete laboratory testing and collect samples at established intervals. Audit for compliance.

    Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM


    Skills:
    Ability to work on your own and with others
    Ability to follow directions
    Ability to work simple hand tools
    ASQ certification or equivalent preferred


    Education:
    No Degree Required

    Experience:

    0-1 years


    Qualifications:
    Must be able to read and write English
    Must be able to work on your feet for 8 hours
    Requires steel toes or composite shoes
    2 years of experience as a Quality Technician in a manufacturing setting
    Knowledge of basic statistics
