- Will be involved in support/analysis of enterprise applications with primary responsibility for CS Gold and applications for Real Estate and Campus Enterprises.
- Will assist researching and supporting solutions related to new requirements as well as application enhancements/implementations available in upgrades or 3rd party bolt-ons.
- Under the mentorship of senior staff, will be involved in all stages of the software development life cycle to ensure requirements are clearly identified and documented, and enhancements achieve desired results while ensuring systems are secure.
- Will have assignments that will require participating with a variety of groups/individuals both internal to the department as well as across the division or university (including project managers, business analysts, technical developers, and systems/infrastructure resources).
- Will actively participate in thinking through requirements, brainstorming solution options as well as analyzing impacts of those options.
- Requires the ability to perform configuration, testing and implementation tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Minimum of 12 months business analysis experience
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of project management principles and processes.
- SQL experience (structured query language).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on tasks, develop own work schedule, and monitor progress against defined parameters.
- Experience/knowledge writing functional specifications and documents.
- Experience with CBORD's CS Gold software.
- Experience with Informatica software highly desirable.
- Willing to utilize online resources to guide research.

Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
ITS Enterprise Applications (EA) develops and implements software solutions for University enterprises and other campus users.
The team supports existing applications within the University's ConnectCarolina enterprise report management system, including ConnectCarolina's finance, human resources and payroll pieces and student administration.
Position Summary
This position is a 100% remote work arrangement, consistent with System Office policy.
UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
The Enterprise Applications (EA) division of Information Technology Services (ITS) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) is seeking a business analyst to join our functional team in support of cloud and on-premise hosted applications.
This position will be primarily responsible for supporting the applications for Real Estate and Campus Enterprises, to include CS Gold.
This role will provide guidance to other IT staff providing technical services. This position requires strong communication and customer skills and the ability to work with staff at different levels.
The ITS EA Applications Analyst will assist in analyzing, developing and recommending technology-based solutions to achieve program goals and business results.

Master's or Bachelors and 0-2 years' experience; or will accept a combination of related education and experience in substitution.
