    Position Overview:
    At Freddie Mac, you will do important work to build a better housing finance system and you will be part of a team helping to make homeownership and rental housing more accessible and affordable across the nation
    Delivery Methodology manages the software delivery methodologies for the firm (excluding Investments & Capital Markets).

    We support enterprise-wide technology initiatives using influence over authority and provide thought leadership for our key partners to continue improving and maturing.

    Using a customer and product-centric mindset, Delivery Methodology provides a framework and guidance across various business divisions to create consistency and continuity across the firm.

    The incumbent will bring proven problem solving and innovation skills and will join the Governance workstream within Delivery Methodology.

    Interested? Read on You will be responsible for working directly with a team enterprise wide to implement the Freddie Mac Agile Methodology.

    This position requires you have hands-on experience with Agile methods, including Scrum and Kanban, understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) risks and controls and a passion for process improvement.


    Your Impact:
    Support the Governance workstream within Modern Delivery Office to manage all SDLC controls associated with Modern Delivery & Iterative Delivery (IDM) Methodologies
    Remediate all identified risks and issues within agreed upon timeline,
    Conduct quarterly Governance compliance review for IDM & Modern Delivery methodologies,
    Self-identify risks and compliance issues,
    Ensure teams understand and adhere to SDLC controls,

    Identify opportunities to optimize and automate SDLC controls and lead the effort to make improvements (including rolling out changes to teams).

    Act as the point-of-contact for any testing or auditing done by outside teams
    Coordinate with product teams to share documentation, when needed
    Influence process improvements that benefit product teams
    Identify processes that cause toil for product teams and have opportunity for review/improvement
    Work with leaders in other areas to drive improvements that will lessen toil for product teams
    Support the change management aspects process improvements/changes
    Communicate changes with teams to ensure new process changes are understood and integrated

    Qualifications:

    • 8 years of demonstrated relevant experience in SDLC governance, agile and/or program management
    Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
    Minimum of Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Scrum Master (PMI-ACP) required
    8+ years of direct experience in one or more aspects of Information Technology (Software design/ development, IT Architecture, or other related IT areas)
    8+ years of explicit experience as an Agile Scrum Master of an Agile delivery team, preferably in a variety of situations including a large enterprise, a scaled environment, and a matrixed organization
    Effective facilitation skills
    Effective coaching and mentoring skills
    Ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous, fast paced environment where priorities shift rapidly
    Strong problem-solving skills and ability to determine solutions that help everyone win
    Effective influence, collaboration, and negotiation skills
    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    Hands-on Atlassian tool experience (Jira, Confluence) preferred.
    Ability to breakdown sophisticated technology concepts and present to senior leadership

    This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $115,000 - $173,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.

    The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
