    Summary

    Job Summary: Coordinates among practice offices the daily physician procedural schedules Ensures all schedules are completed and accurate based on physician requests and physician history files. Performs registration and scheduling of outpatient appointments, charge entry, collection of co-payments and medical records functions. May perform referrals.

    Essential Functions:

    • Schedule - Schedules walk-in clinic appointments, and all other related appointments.
    • Communicate - Maintains communication between Faculty office and office coordinator/ leadership.
    • Medical Records - Pulls and refiles records, files loose reports and other documents in the records, performs file maintenance. Processes release of medical records information per policy.
    • Registration - Financial Preforms complete registration of patients. Optimizes professional charges.
    • Customer Service - Ensures all customers receive exemplary service. Serves as a patient/ customer advocate as needed.

    Requirements - Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. Experience - 3-5 years.
