    Position Overview: Soliant Health is seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Birmingham, Alabama. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals by providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to patients of all ages.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication challenges
    • Provide therapy services to improve speech, language, fluency, and swallowing disorders
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress

    Qualifications for Speech Language Pathologist (SLP):

    • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
    • Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
    • Experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations preferred
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy

    Qualifications for Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA):

    • Bachelors degree in Communication Disorders or related field
    • Alabama Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure
    • Experience working under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist preferred
    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

    Qualifications for Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY):

    • Completion of a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
    • Eligibility for the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as outlined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
    • Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure
    • Strong academic background in communication disorders, linguistics, and related fields
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Dedication to ongoing professional development and learning
    • Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
    • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy
