    **Description**

    **The Retail Sales Associates main responsibilities include:**

    Acknowledging, greeting, and helping customers in any area of the store

    Assisting customers and donors in a timely and courteous manner by answering questions or directing them to a supervisor

    Using a cash register to total sales, accept payments for merchandise, and give correct change

    Accepting and preparing donations for the sales floor, which includes tagging items, stocking store shelves, and hanging clothes

    Maintaining a clean, safe, and customer-friendly environment in the store, which includes general housekeeping duties and straightening merchandise

    **Qualifications**

    One year of Retail experience is preferred.

    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Prolonged standing and walking with frequent bending, stooping and stretching.

    Frequent lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds is required.

    Friendly, outgoing, and dependable.

    **Additional Information**

    Part-time position up to 28 hours per week

    The successful candidate must be able to obtain acceptable results for required background checks, including Act 151 Pennsylvania Child Abuse History, Pennsylvania Criminal History and Department of Human Services- FBI.
