    Job Summary

    UT Southwestern Medical Center is hiring for Clinical Site Coordinator, Physician Assist Studies Admn

    Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, education, or related field and at least three (3) years' experience in recruiting, sales, education coordination, and/or clinical or research management required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Previous clinical site coordinator preferred.
  • Evaluation, research, or data management experience preferred.
  • Job Duties

  • Serves as a community liaison building positive relationships to establish and maintain clinical rotation sites for physician assistant students.
  • Recruits new clinical rotation sites.
  • Maintains current clinical rotation sites.
  • Performs regular site visits to develop new clinical rotation sites and monitor current clinical rotation sites to include evaluation of site/preceptor and preceptor development.
  • Begins initial contract paperwork (affiliation agreement) for new clinical rotation sites.
  • Ensures clinical contracts are current with necessary documentation aligning with ARC-PA standards.
  • Creates, updates, and maintains necessary reports (Access database, contracts, ARC-PA portal).
  • Builds and maintains community awareness of the physician assistant role in order to develop clinical rotations for physician assistant student placement.
  • Ensures ARC-PA accreditation compliance regarding clinical standards.
  • Develops housing opportunities for students for clinical placements outside of the DFW metroplex.
  • Maintains knowledge of current health care trends as it relates to physician assistants. Updates preceptors and faculty on relevant issues.
  • Develops and maintains a positive working relationship with medical education offices and personnel of hospital-system partners.
  • **Other Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.
