    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Surgical Unit, requiring a current OK or compact RN license and pediatric ACLS certification.

    Responsibilities
    Work in a Pediatric Surgical hospital unit
    Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, three days per week
    Provides care to pediatric patients with both simple and complex health conditions
    Expected to administer medications, assist with minor procedures, monitor patient data, and communicate care plans to patients and families
    Responsible for documentation of care and patient responses, and for delegating tasks to support staff
    Applicants must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates within this radius are not eligible
    Returning travelers may only extend once for a total of 26 weeks, and must observe a 6-month separation before reapplying
    English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing is required

    Requirements
    Active RN license issued by OK or a valid multi-state compact RN license (eNLC)
    Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
    At least 1 year of pediatric RN experience
    Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
