Job summary
The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for interpreting organizational IT architecture, business, operations and security needs and then building testing implementing and documenting network and security workflows solutions to meet those needs.
Responsibilities
- This position is also responsible for building testing implementing and documenting network workflow solutions
- The Senior Network Engineer must have a thorough understanding of complex IT networks network security computer systems This individual will serve as the lead implementation expert regarding network and network security standards solutions for the enterprise
- Will coordinate communicate with various levels of technical backgrounds roles to develop implement solutions
- Familiarity with troubleshooting methodologies required Must be able to interpret technical concepts less-technical audience Will analyze work closely with IT Security ensure that regulatory requirements best practices are integrated implemented into workflows revise network security solutions needed based changing threat landscape Will promote operational excellence new ideas technologies workflows concepts improve performance reduce cost Participate future-state enterprise infrastructure planning execution Lead configuration implementation operational handoff efforts written documentation instructions diagrams procedures operational staff enterprise networks associated system controls enforce require policies software hardware enforced policies Implement best practice controls enforce required policy including softwar
