- Assist with the development of three budget submissions (DHHS, OMB, and Congressional Justification).
- Assist with developing, analyzing and reconciling the President's budget schedules in OMBs MAS Information System.
- Assist in strategic planning and preparation of government agency budget defense and presentation materials.
- Prepare technical, financial, and programmatic materials necessary to assist in the development and execution of programs.
- Develop, reconcile and maintain budgetary and financial tables included in the Agency's budget information.
- Conduct financial analyses of agency's financial commitment base and provide retrospective Information on accuracy of projections.
- Provide execution status; Assist with Agency's spend plan process.
- Recommend proper use of all funds (active, expired, and cancelled funds reconciliation.
- Enter and maintain data and provide forecasting on FTEs and pay cost.
- Knowledge, skills, and abilities in the budget analysis field.
- Capable of utilizing, adapting and developing budget and resource analytic tools, techniques, and processes for both technical and administrative support activities.
- Works as a member of team and assists with solving complex problems.
- Budget formulation experience for government agencies required
- BA/BS in Finance or related discipline
- HHS, NIH Public Trust (Ability to obtain)
- 3 or more years of Budget Formulation and/or Budget Execution
