Join a dynamic team in the chemical manufacturing industry as a Laboratory Technician I, where your expertise will directly contribute to quality assurance and control in plant operations.
Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory analysis/wet chemistry on product and in-process samples to support quality assurance/control.
Perform calibration and maintenance of test equipment to ensure accuracy.
Prepare samples and maintain accurate data generation and records in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Utilize analytical instruments to address quality assurance/control issues effectively.
Prepare chemical stock solutions and reagents, establishing preparation standards.
Receive direction and support from lab supervisors/chemists.
Skills & Qualifications
Chemicals:
Knowledge of chemical properties and handling.
Quality Assurance:
Familiarity with quality control systems and methodologies.
Chemical Safety:
Understanding of safety protocols in a laboratory environment.
Computer Literacy:
Proficient in using computer applications for data management.
Education & Experience
Qualifications:
Polytechnic graduate with a background in Chemical/Process/Technical Engineering.
Experience:
Preferable experience in quality control systems.
