    Proper Hospitality is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President of Finance to join our corporate team and lead the financial strategy and operations of our growing portfolio.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Financial Strategy:
    Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives, including capital allocation, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelingFinancial Planning & Analysis: Oversee financial planning and analysis activities, including revenue forecasting, expense management, profitability analysis and variance analysis

    Financial Reporting:
    Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, as well as ad hoc reporting for senior management and stakeholders

    Treasury Management:
    Manage cash flow, liquidity and treasury functions to optimize working capital and support business operations

    Risk Management:
    Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk, through effective risk management strategies and controlsCompliance & Governance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls, and oversee external audits and regulatory filings

    Business Partnering:
    Collaborate with other departments and business units to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and drive performance improvement initiativesLeadership &

    Team Development:
    Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, including recruitment, training, performance management, and talent developmentMergers & Acquisitions: Lead financial due diligence and integration efforts for potential acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic investments

    Continuous Improvement:

    Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and scalability of finance operationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, with at least 5 years in the hospitality industry.

    Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insightsProven track record of developing and executing financial strategies to drive business growth and profitabilityExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levelsStrategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on continuous improvementAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead teams through change and ambiguityCompany OverviewProper Hospitality is made up of a diverse group of passionate individuals who share a common love for hotels and the art of hospitality.
