Schedule: 36 or 48 hours guaranteed per week; every other weekend required; no call

Highlights:

• Medical Surgical / Remote Telemetry unit with diverse patient population including diabetes, post-op, wound vacs, and bariatrics
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6 on a 33-bed unit with average daily census of 28
• Epic EMR system required; supportive interdisciplinary team including IV therapy, respiratory services, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
• Flexible assignment lengths with guaranteed hours and local candidates accepted
• Comprehensive orientation with non-billable hours factored into assignment
• State-of-the-art equipment including space labs in every room and Diligent lift equipment

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS certification current and valid
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 5-6 patient ratios preferred
• Proficiency in MS/Tele, IV insulin protocols, colostomy/ileostomy management, and related skills
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred
• Must be available to complete compliance requirements within 48 hours of contract signing
• Flu vaccine required; medical or religious exemptions only
