- Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations to assess patients' medical histories, current health status, and potential risks associated with anesthesia
- Develop and implement anesthesia plans tailored to each patient's needs and the specific procedure
- Administer various types of anesthesia, including general, regional, and local anesthesia, using advanced techniques and monitoring equipment
- Monitor patients' vital signs, respiration, and overall condition during and after anesthesia administration
- Manage any complications or adverse reactions that may arise during the anesthesia process
- Provide post-operative pain management and care, including the administration of analgesics and other medications
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient
- Participate in research and contribute to the advancement of anesthesia practice and patient safety
- Completion of an accredited Master's or Doctoral degree program in Nurse Anesthesia
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Excellent clinical skills and a thorough understanding of pharmacology, physiology, and anesthesia principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
- Understanding of anesthesia protocols, regulations, and ethical principles
