- Dispatch truck drivers for pick-ups at customer locations; local ports; and railroads
- Confirm proper bookings and billings to meet customer requirements
- Enter data in the computer for planning and general information
- Provide necessary communications to the terminal regarding specific customer requests
- Be willing to work extended hours to meet and exceed customer needs
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and Safety Compliance
- Thrives off working in a high paced environment
- Ability to prioritize/multitask
- Computer Savvy
- Knowledge of BOLs; ports; intermodal; per-diem and various other transportation knowledge
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in the trucking &/or intermodal transportation industry
Understanding of steamships - Ability to read and comprehend all instructions including operating rules; bulletins; regulatory documents and other written communications
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
