    Full-Time Hospice Chaplain

    Helping people and families experience death with dignity; having all the support they need is our passion. Is that yours? We are looking for a person possessing the right attitude, heart, and pastoral competencies that will serve our patients, their families, and join our team. This Hospice Chaplain will work with patients and families in the Greenville service area.

    Duties include but are not limited to professionally performing the role and functions of a hospice Chaplain. This includes patient care, family support, bereavement counseling, and a collaborative team approach to hospice care.

    Someone with high integrity, a strong work ethic and proven experience serving the most vulnerable amongst us who need unequaled compassion and spiritually supportive care. Your strong desire to meet people where they are with what they need during hospice care and in bereavement will speak volumes.

    We operate synergistically with other disciplines while individually maintaining high standards of personal and professional conduct, pastoral care, medical documentation, and a growth mindset.

    Requirements:
    • A proven history working with people at the end of life and their families.
    • A Master's degree in Ministry, Theology, Divinity, or related ministry track.
    • At least two years experience in a spiritual care setting that may include: church, hospital, military or hospice chaplaincy.
    • Great people skills that include abilities to build connections, solve problems, work independently, and under supervision.
    • At least one unit of CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) from an accredited APCE institution. Applicants will not be considered without at least one unit of CPE.
    • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record software.
