We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Inspector who takes pride in precision, understands manufacturing processes, and wants to be part of a collaborative, high-performing team.

What You'll Do
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a direct role in ensuring that every part and assembly meets exact specifications before reaching our customers.

You Will

• Inspect precision-machined components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications
• Perform in-process and final inspections
• Inspect assemblies to verify accuracy and conformance
• Program and operate CMM equipment for in-house and supplier-manufactured products
• Use precision inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, bore gages, gage blocks, and optical comparators
• Interpret complex blueprints and apply GD&T standards
• Document inspection results and nonconformities
• Identify and remove nonconforming product from production flow until properly dispositioned
• Maintain quality documentation and traceability records
• Prioritize workload based on production schedules
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams
• Support corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives

This is a hands-on role in a precision manufacturing environment where your technical skills directly protect product integrity.

What You Bring
Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience inspecting precision-manufactured parts
• Experience in a precision machine shop environment (milling, turning, grinding, EDM, assembly)
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
• Experience programming and operating CMM equipment
• Knowledge of quality management systems, SOPs, work instructions, and corrective action processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid shop math skills

Compensation
In accordance with New Jersey pay transparency requirements, the anticipated base salary range for this position is:

$52,199 - $73,078 annually
(Approximately
$25.10 – $35.13 per hour
)

The targeted hiring range is typically between
$25.10 and $30.11 per hour
, with compensation above midpoint reserved for candidates demonstrating advanced experience and CMM programming proficiency.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs.

This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and New Jersey law.
