    About The Role:

    The Director of Finance is a high impact leadership role reporting to the Vice President of Finance. The Director of Finance will be a key partner to the leadership team and will support the company's financial vision, direction, and provide guidance to support successful company operations and growth. The Director of Finance will be a hands-on yet strategic leader providing expertise and partnership in Milan Laser's Financial Management and support the development of Milan's Business Intelligence capabilities.

    This role will manage the company's planning processes including budgeting and long-range planning. The Director of Finance will coordinate across operational finance leaders to synthesize business performance into Milan's Management Reporting and BI systems/tools. This role will offer a high level of exposure to all senior leadership within Milan Laser.

    Responsibilities Include:
    • Partner with the VP of FP&A, executive team, and business leaders to support the company's budgeting, strategic planning and forecasting processes
    • Prepare management presentations, including monthly reporting, Board of Director, and other adhoc presentations
    • Identify trends and provide recommendations for financial optimization
    • Collaborate among cross-functional teams to analyze and present key financial and strategic issues to executive leadership
    • Provide visibility and predictability to the organization through accurate and timely financial planning and reporting of results, including financial statements and analysis for senior management, the company's Board of Directors, and other stakeholders
    • Provide analytical perspectives and executive financial summaries to guide important strategic decisions, including M&A activities and significant capital investments
    • Conduct ad-hoc business case modeling for our CFO and leadership team. Develop financial analyses to drive decision support, generate insightful analytics, and identify opportunities
    • Drive continuous improvement in all financial processes, with a focus on developing a world- class finance/accounting team, leveraging technology and staffing resources
    • Lead, coach, and mentor team members in an ambiguous/dynamic environment
    Required Qualifications:
    • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting
    • 7+ years of progressive financial management experience
    • "Hands on" ability with data and analytics
    • Ability to present complex information clearly & concisely (Often leveraging PowerPoint)
    • Advanced Excel modeling skills and a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Highly analytical, technically proficient, operationally and business savvy
    • Strong organization skills - Ability to facilitate and coordinate multiple deadlines in a fast- paced environment while responding quickly to management requests
    • Strategic and creative thinking regarding competitive strategy, business models, and financial management
    • Ability to build strong relationships through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
    • Experience in a data-driven environment
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • CPA and/or MBA
    • Experience with business intelligence and/or financial planning software (Power BI / Adaptive Insights / Anaplan)
