Caregivers with Western Slope In-Home Care have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of elderly, blind, or disabled individuals by providing compassionate care in their home.

We offer home care services to Medicaid, VA, LTC insurance, and private pay clients who desire to maintain independence and live in their own homes.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Help patients with mobility around the house or outside for appointments, walks, etc.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene tasks.
• Prepare meals for clients.
• Accompany clients on shopping trips or assist them in completing these tasks independently.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report any unusual incidents and respond promptly in emergency situations.
• Engage patients in activities essential for daily living by assisting with meal preparation, serving, and other tasks as needed.

Ideal Candidates

• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Promote personal safety and create a safe environment for clients.
• Maintain compliance with agency policy, procedures, and job requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• CNA certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Two years of caregiver experience is desired.

Caregivers work in the comfort of each patient's home, allowing for more one-on-one time to develop a deeper understanding of the patient's needs and provide high-quality care.

This support empowers patients to remain independent and comfortable in their own homes.

Covid-19 Considerations

We provide infection control training and offer PPE training along with a gear bag at orientation.
