    How you'll make an impact in this role

    • High-Risk Surveillance: Perform comprehensive obstetric ultrasound examinations for high-risk patients in accordance with established departmental guidelines and protocols.
    • Fetal Echocardiography: Perform detailed fetal echocardiograms to evaluate cardiac anatomy, rhythm, and hemodynamics in cases of suspected congenital heart disease.  
    • Finding Documentation: Prepare detailed preliminary examination reports, documenting biometry, anatomy, and any abnormal findings.
    • Patient Education: Clearly communicate the ultrasound process to patients, alleviating anxiety and ensuring informed consent during diagnostic and interventional stages.  

    What minimum requirements you'll need

    Licensure / Certification / Registration:

    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • Medical Sonographer specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
    • Credentialed in Fetal Echocardiography from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) within 24 months of hire date or job transfer date required.

    Education:

    • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

    • Working schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30a-4p
