    Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Physician Assistant to work at a Facility in New York, NY. These are registry positions with our company.

    Pay Rate: $145 / hour

    *1099 Independent Contractor

    Shift Details:

    • 8:30am - 5:00pm; 9:00am - 5:30pm; or 9:30am - 6:00pm, for7.5 hours excluding one hour lunch.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Shall have completed a bachelor's degree or equivalent and a NYS approved physician assistant training program.
    • Shall be currently licensed by NYS Education Department.
    • Shall have at least two (2) years recent, relevant medical practice experience, or a satisfactory equivalent, subject to Authority approval.
    • It is desirable that physician assistants have training and/or experience in occupational medicine.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Provide medical evaluation typically performed by a physician, under the supervision of a physician. Perform routine physical medical examinations in the Authority's MACs to detect presence of specific conditions and render medical decisions regarding the pre-employment candidates' and/or employees' ability to perform assigned duties and tasks.
    • Complete all necessary medical documents and enter all related data into electronic medical records.
    • Perform the work and services, when necessary, at any Authority facilities set forth in Section IV.
    • Determine appropriate work/hire status and follow-up revisit, if needed.
