    Job Summary and Qualifications

    POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for patient assessment, treatment, and care during the transport process under the guidance of the transport team's leadership. Collaborates with peers to ensure quality patient care and positive outcomes, operating in a clinical role while contributing to performance improvement and research.

    Qualifications:
    ALL RN's REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS

    • TX State RN license
    • BCLS, ACLS, NRP Neonate Resuscitate

    In addition MATERNAL RN:

    • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification

    In addition PICU/NICU RN:

    • PALS, C-NPT Neo Ped Transport, TNCC Trauma Nursing Core Course, ENPC Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, STABLE

    PREFERRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:

    MATERNAL RN:

    • STABLE

    REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    • Diploma, Associate or BSN
    • Two years' experience in specific nursing areas

    PREFERRED EDUCATION, LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

    • CCRN, PNCCT, TNATC, CTRN, CFRN, Critical Care Transport Experience
    • Three years' experience in relevant nursing areas

    SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

    • Proficient communication skills, ability to assist with heavy lifting, and can empathize and respond to various needs
