- Provide Person-Centered Customer Service and coordinated support to clients/residents, guests, staff and all other community stakeholders.
- Answer resident/client and guest questions in person and over the phone.
- Respond to clients who experience complex challenges impacting stability, health, safety.
- Coordinate and troubleshoot day to day logistics of facility.
- Assess and deescalate conflict with clients in a manner that ensures safety for the individual as well as the community.
- Devote the time and energy required to ensure that all clients are engaged and that all encounters with clients are positive, professional, and reinforcing of the key missions of the program as well as the agency.
- Maintain electronic health records in accordance with the expectations for timely and thorough documentation.
- High school diploma/GED
- Experience working with diverse backgrounds and the ability to adapt to a variety of situations as they arise
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to multi-task and provide accurate information
- Ability to perform duties discretely and observe program confidentiality policies
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication skills
- Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office products
- Must be friendly, professional, compassionate, and have the desire to be helpful to residents living in a supportive housing program

Description
SUMMARYThe Support Specialist/Front Desk Associateis responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment within adult supportive housing. Our housing program serves individuals with lived experiences of homelessness. Responsibilities include monitoring and assisting with resident situations, greeting all visitors, supporting program staff.
Pay ranges from $20-$22 per hour
We offer a $2 shift differential for our OVERNIGHT shifts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
RS EDEN requires all new hire candidates for this position to successfully undergo and pass a criminal history background check, and driver record screen (DMV check).
