    Doctor of Medicine | Oncology - Radiation

    About the Position

    LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Radiation Oncology MD in California

    Our client in California is actively seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncologist for a 90-day assignment beginning Apr 6, 2026. This full-time engagement will involve a wide range of advanced radiation therapy techniques, including external beam therapy, intensity modulated radiation therapy, image guided radiation therapy, and various forms of stereotactic radiosurgery, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Perform Intracavitary (i.e. Mammosite) procedures
    • Conduct Interstitial and Vascular/Endovascular treatments
    • Manage LDR - Low dose rate and high dose rate therapies
    • Administer External Beam Therapy (EBRT) including Linear Accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, Electrons, Tomotherapy, and Superficial/Orthovoltage
    • Utilize Conventional/Conformal Therapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation therapy (IMRT), and Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)
    • Execute Stereotactic Body radiation therapy (SBRT)
    • Perform Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) - all types, including Cyber knife and Gamma knife
    • Provide Intraoperative radiation therapy (IORT)
    • Oversee Total body irradiation (TBI) and Total Skin electrons (TSE)
    • Implement Hyper altered fractionation
    • Conduct Conventional treatment planning, Beam shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, and IMRT
    • Integrate PET CT or MRI Image Fusion
    • Utilize Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI)
    • Participate in Clinical Trials
