Job summary
+The Warehouse Associate is responsible for unloading and receiving inbound shipments,
staging next-day and future delivery items,
loading and shipping outbound freight,
completing product assembly and conducting pre-delivery inspections.
- High School diploma
- Unload and receive inbound shipments from distribution centers and vendors (appliances, grills, OPE, etc.) ,
- Loading the merchandise onto trucks or other transportation vehicles to prepare it for delivery to customers. ,
- Maintain a clean organized safe work environment with all functions in the Warehouse Management System including scanning dispatching validation reporting RTM worklists damaged on hand reports cycle counts audits adjustments inventory reconciliation execution of Return To Manufacturer program ensuring accurate documentation vendor communication credit processing processing disposition damaged discontinued defective special order canceled merchandise secure return authorizations from vendors submit credits customer returned items regular communication third party logistics partners address resolve delivery claims strong professional relationships vendors liquidation partners BDC outlet teams resolve customer cargo issues ensure claims updated Lowe systems Forklift certification may be required ,
