Little Learners Childcare – Now Hiring Teachers (Float & 3–4-Year-Old Classroom)

Little Learners Childcare is new to the Seymour community, and we are excited to grow our team We are looking for caring, flexible, and family‑focused teachers who want to be part of a warm, supportive environment while providing high‑quality care to the children and families we serve.
As a newly established center, we are seeking both float/multi‑classroom teachers and a 3–4‑year‑old lead teacher who are eager to grow with us. If you love building relationships, enjoy working as part of a collaborative team, and want to help shape a center from the ground up, we would love to meet you

Qualifications

Education Requirements
Lead Teacher:
- High school diploma or equivalent (per Wisconsin DPI requirements)
- At least 240 hours of experience in an early childhood setting (group center, licensed family childcare, or approved equivalent)
Assistant Teacher:
Must meet one of the following:
- At least 18 years old and complete 2 ECE credits within 6 months
- At least 18 years old and complete 1 non‑credit, DPI‑approved ECE course within 6 months
- At least 17 years old and complete a DPI‑approved assistant teacher program, 2 ECE credits, or a non‑credit approved ECE course
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and supervise daily classroom activities
- Create nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environments
- Build strong, positive relationships with children and families
- Support play‑based, age‑appropriate curriculum
- Maintain a flexible, intentional, and engaged teaching approach
- Attend all required staff meetings and trainings
- Complete at least 15 hours of continuing education annually
- Ensure the best possible outcomes for each child's growth and development
Additional Requirements
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass all required background checks
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and actively engage with children throughout the day
